Eastern National is a nonprofit cooperating association that has supported the interpretive, educational, and scientific programs of the U.S. National Park Service since 1947. Founded by rangers at Gettysburg National Military Park, it operates as a shared-resource organization across the country.

From a legacy tracker to a modern, integrated POS.

The challenge

Replacing a legacy platform built for a pre-POS world.

For decades, Eastern National relied on ENOnline (ENO) to track store operations where no Point-of-Sale system was available. It served its purpose but lacked modern usability, scalability, and efficiency.

They needed to manage retail without a direct POS, enable seasonal staff with minimal training, eliminate manual sales and inventory errors, and remove dependence on outsourced NetSuite expertise — all integrated with Oracle NetSuite ERP in real time.

What we developed

A new Automated POS, synced directly to Oracle NetSuite.

We built a new Automated POS system to modernize store operations and synchronize directly with Oracle NetSuite. Built for scalability and ease of use, it supports daily sales entry, purchase-order tracking, transfer management, and inventory oversight through a secure interface.

Updates to purchase orders, transfers, and inventory counts sync automatically with Oracle NetSuite to keep data accurate during audits.
